Sponsored by the Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia initiative, the Nova Scotia high-speed Internet Marketing workshop series will bring a team of veteran workshop leaders and speakers into four communities in Nova Scotia. Power-Up Your Internet Marketing!

The high speed Internet marketing workshops will provide both group learning as well as expert one-on-one advice. Each of six sessions throughout the day will use simple, practical, real-life examples from other small businesses that are winning new customers every day online. Workshops topics include: email marketing, search engine optimization, social media and marketing, and how to use Kijiji and other online networks.

The seminars will be led by veterans of the industry, selected for each having extensive industry experience, strong communication skills, and a familiarity with the online and marketing challenges of small and mid-sized businesses. The speakers are all members of Atlantic Canada Internet Marketing Association (ACIMA) and spoke at the 2009 AIM (Atlantic Internet Marketing) Conference.
